TRAILS GUIDE SERVICE offers fully guided & outfitted canoe trips on
the famous Allagash Wilderness Waterway, the Penobscot
River Corridor,
and several different backcountry trips to Maine's Baxter
State Park.
- Our trips are always set at a leisurely
pace and provide many opportunities for fishing, wildlife and moose
watching, swimming, relaxing and exploring. Healthy and
hearty meals are served daily, and we make every effort to make our clients
comfortable in the wilds of Maine.
- Trips are participatory in nature
(meaning that everyone helps with all aspects of living & travel in the
wilderness) and no prior experience is necessary. We take great pride in
teaching the appropriate paddling & camping skills required along the way.
- We use quality equipment
(Eureka Outfitter tents & Old Town canoes) and pack all necessary
outdoor equipment used on our extended canoe trips.
